Her first job at Northern Rock started 20 years ago. After the financial crisis, they were acquired by Virgin Money and then Clydesdale, and are now part of the Nationwide group.

Initially, as DBAs, they used Control-M to run a few jobs, but their use of Control-M provided a single view of their estate, across traditional team boundaries their navigated legacy infrastructures, OS, databases and applications, bringing very disparate technologies together into a single entity.

Now, with a dedicated Control-M team, they are responsible for the Control-M application, the user community and the building and testing of the jobs that run through it, both in their data centres and, increasingly, on various cloud platforms.
